Safety Tips for Preparing for Your Next Road Trip

Taking the time to prepare in advance can really turn a bad situation around, but most drivers don't take the time to do this. Our service center has come up with a few tips for ensuring your next road trip is the safest possible.

Here are a few things to consider before leaving for the road trip.

Keep a tire gauge in the car and check the pressure in all four tires each time you get fuel.

Keep an emergency box in the trunk with flares, duct tape, tools, and a flashlight.

Check that the spare tire in the truck is actually inflated and in working condition.

Keep an empty gas can in the trunk in case you run out.

Bring along a spare gallon of engine coolant in case the car does overheat.

Now that wasn't too painful. Taking the time to address these issues will ensure a safer road trip.
